Fairies do occasionally leave the safety of their Other World Garden to visit Faerie Friends in the physical world.
They are clever at hiding from view, but if you learn to slow down and move quietly in the natural world you may be lucky enough to catch them unawares out of the corner of your eye.

Much of our Faerie lore is connected to British Wild Flowers. Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream records a lot of old English Faerie Lore and is worth closer inspection.
